Chanese Associates was first established in 1994 by Al Chanese soon after receiving my MAI Designation from the Appraisal Institute. The office was located in Jersey City, NJ from 1994 to 2011.  During that time, Al Chanese worked on projects that included the redevelopment in Long Branch, NJ in what is now Pier Village and Beach Front north.   Other redevelopment projected included the Gateway in Carteret and Berry Lane Park in Jersey City.  

 

In 2010, the company name was changed to New Jersey Realty Advisory Group, LLC and in  2011, the office was relocated to Perth Amboy, NJ. In 2016 we moved to are current location in Woodbridge, which gave us more room to expand.

Over the past 20 yeas, we have worked with the Army Corps of Engineers on the Bound Brook Flood Control Project as well as smaller projects throughout the state.  We valued the Main Post at Fort Monmouth in New Jersey and the Willow Grove Naval Station in Pennsylvania for GAS along with several Coast Guard properties along the Jersey Coast.

We continued to work with the State of New Jersey providing valuations for Green Acres and Blue Acres (the buyout of homes in flood prone areas).

In addition to these larger projects, we continued to serve the commercial lending community, attorneys and private individuals.
